New Director of Communication and Planning
Burnaby, May 12, 2010 – BC Milk Producers Association is pleased to welcome
Dr. Rehanni Khaseipoul, DVM, as the new Director of Communication and Planning. Rehanni studied Animal Science at UBC and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1994 from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. For several years she ran her own veterinary animal hospital in Port Moody before joining the Canadian Food Inspection Service (CFIA). Rehanni has received media and crisis management training and was deeply involved in dealing with the avian flu outbreak. She was the Veterinarian in Charge of Pitt Meadows Meats and was the Western Veterinary Disease Control Specialist for BC and Alberta. For the past two years Rehanni returned to a limited public practice.
Rehanni is looking forward to applying her knowledge, experience and communication skills to advance and grow the BC dairy industry.

Founded in 1936 as the BC Federation of Agriculture, BC Milk Producers Association is the voice of approximately 550 dairy farmers in British Columbia. It is an advocate with governments, the media, special interest groups and other industry associations. The Association’s Board of Directors is made up of 14 dairy producers, appointed by the seven regions in the province that make up its membership.
